Our industrial story started when our valued founder, dear leader and Honorary President the deceased Muhlis Tekin migrated from Artvin to Kars in 1962 along with his wife and 7 children because of financial difficulties and from there their migration to Istanbul in 1979.
Despite the all negative conditions and hardships existed in 1980, our dear leader in parallel to his talent and foresighted ability, without making any concessions from his values, by working in an honest, enthusiastic way based on principles, on those days he established current Demtaž Grups strong foundations.
In life, every father leaves a heritage and teaching for his kids Our dear leader taught us, under all circumstances, to work honestly, ethically and patiently, to have vision, to respect customers and to have the ability to overcome the difficulties.
Our commercial activities have started with Geylanim Real Estate which is humble real estate agency and founded by our Honorary President with his 5 sons in 1980. At that time, Geylanim Real Estate started to deal with small purchase-sell and broking activities. In the following years, being aware that unification brings strength, despite that eras difficult conditions, our dear leader and his sons, without being daunted and by working decisively and firmly, starting from a small real estate agency they succeeded in creating a success story and in very short time they were able to take amazing steps toward a giant company Grup.
As a result of this fast changing process which started with growth, the first step was taken toward institutionalization in 1993 under the name of Demtaž Construction Tourism Corporation. In areas of real estate sale-purchase, real estate development and real estate consultancy, in order to go out of common practices and shape logic of real estate logic by combining them with its corporate structure; for the purposes of constantly searching for growth opportunities, supporting innovations, strengthening technological infrastructure and enriching human resources in 1995 R&D department was established.
In the following years, by expanding areas of its commercial activities Demtaž has started a series of new initiatives in order to make contribution to the countrys economy and create employment opportunities. In 2000s, it made investments in core sectors of the countrys economy like Construction, Automotive, Petroleum, Health, Foreign trade and Infrastructure.
Those investments, respectively, are the followings; in 1995 Demport Construction and Expertise Services, in 1996 Emineller Metal, in 1996, in transportation sector in Romania Ycel SRL, in 1998 in automotive sector Ycehan Motor Vehicles, in 1999 Demtaž Rent a Car, in 1999, in Germany, as a construction company Demtaž A.G., in 2001 in Erbil, Iraq as an infrastructure and construction company Assan Company, in 2002 in Azerbaijan as a construction and road company AHV, in 2003, again in Azerbaijan, Azer Construction for road, construction and infrastructure company, in 2004 Tekinler Metal, in 2005 as a construction company Tekin Construction, again in 2005 Demtaž Petroleum, in 2006 Vahap Trans International Transportation and the latest one is Dem Jewellery which was established in 2006.
Demtaž Grup, in addition to its ventures, with its large portfolio, specialized staff and advance level investment consultancy which provide high profits to both national and foreign investors, has become a reliable brand in Turkey.
As a result of this institutionalization, especially in areas of real estate investment and real estate development, by providing services to many big Companies in Turkey it has established various ventures with them. Demtaž, which is highly demanded company in the field of real estate investment with its large portfolio and experienced team, in order to attract highly needed foreign capital to our country it has established partnerships with many foreign companies, foreign funds, foreign funds and individual investors, and by doing so it both made contributions to our country and increased its strength.
With their strong capital structures and innovative service policies our Grup companies, which have different sector enterprises, both within the country and international arena, are steadily growing by constantly improving themselves.
